Drs. Lewis and Beggs are Board Certified Cardiothoracic Surgeons. They specialize in the latest surgical techniques with additional interests in minimally invasive and bloodless surgery. They draw from their extensive training at the Texas Heart Institute and M.D. Anderson Cancer Center to provide the most comprehensive care available. Drs. Lewis and Beggs will render second opinions and frequently assess patients who are considered high risk operative candidates at other centers. Our staff is highly trained and has vast experience with surgical patients and their care. They keep abreast of new technology and can answer questions as they may arise. They recognize this is a stressful time for patients and their families and they work together to reduce your anxiety by expediting consultations, coordinating pre-operative and follow-up visits and providing education.
